On-Site Remotes

Working on remote events with iHeartMedia is always an exciting adventure. These “remotes” are live broadcasts or appearances that take the energy and personality of our stations directly to our listeners, right where they are. My role at these events involves everything from logistics to engagement, ensuring that our presence on-site is impactful and memorable.

Facilitating giveaways and on-site contesting is a key aspect of remotes. People love winning prizes, and I ensure our giveaways run smoothly, from setting up entry forms to announcing winners and distributing prizes. This keeps the energy high and draws in more people to our station’s tent. Throughout the event, I’m also responsible for social media content, capturing the excitement and sharing it with our online followers. Posting live updates, photos, and videos helps listeners who couldn’t attend feel part of the action.

Each remote is an opportunity to connect directly with our audience, bringing the station's spirit into the community. It’s a hands-on role that combines logistics, marketing, and community engagement—all essential for creating memorable experiences that keep our listeners connected to the station, both on-air and off.
